During the school closures, The Kids Aid Backpack Program is following the Mesa County Valley School District #51 Emergency Meal Program on Fridays through June. The dates and locations for the summer program in July are TBD. In addition, there are a handful of alternate locations where our food bags are available. Please email email@example.com if your children are not able to access the Emergency Meal Program sites. All locations are subject to change. Please follow us on Facebook to find the most up to date information on food distributions and volunteer opportunities.
With our deepest gratitude, we extend a wholehearted thank you to everyone that has made a donation to our Backpack Program. Our small staff and dedicated volunteers are working diligently to feed our kids and keep everyone safe and healthy in the process.
We’re all in this together.
Helping Kids Be Kids
Kids Aid is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing for the needs of children, with a primary focus on supplying food to hungry kids. In collaboration with Mesa County School District 51, our Backpack Program sends food donations home with children who otherwise would go hungry over the weekend.
A Heart and Home to End Hunger
A big “Thank You” to everyone who helped us with our Capital Campaign. Because of your support, we were able to afford a permanent warehouse home. Click here to see the property, learn how it will help feed more kids and make a donation.
